Yeah, so, I started I new job back at the beginning of May and my schedule has changed drastically. It has taken me some time to get used to, plus May was just a crazy month in general. Between starting a new job and taking off to the Virgin Islands for vacation, it took a while to get settled into a routine. Around the beginning of June, I finally got into a set schedule at work. What is my new job? Well, I’m doing pest control for a company called Edge Pest Control. I’m a technician so I do the actual services. Yup, I’m Dale Gribble, or should I say Rusty Shackleford? I just need to get an orange Mack hat and some aviator sun glasses and I’m set. Anyways, I work Mon-Thurs and have Fri-Sun off. Work days are long days though consisting of 11-13 hour days, so when I get home all I have time to do is eat and go to bed. I must say though, having a 3-day weekend is pretty sweet. I’ve now settled into a routine where I run errands and check things off my “To Do List” on Fridays then fish Saturdays! So I’m still fishing at least once a week. Sometimes, I sneak off to fish just a little on Friday too.
Anyways, that’s the scoop! Not much else going on. Summertime is pretty slow as far as tournaments go. I want to find some open jackpot tournament to fish one weekend, but everyone seems to be put off on holding one right now because of the heat and pleasure boat traffic. Right now I’m just fishing for fun, but I’ve got some big news coming up. Let’s just say I’ve been entertaining the idea of doing some part-time guiding. I’ll announce it in another post here shortly.
