I had to take my boat into the doctor’s office a couple of weeks ago. As is usually the case when leaving the boat with a mechanic… I still don’t have it back yet. Change of Pace
Well, it’s been an interesting few weeks. First of all. I quit my job doing pest control. It was just too much. It was ok for a while and helped Susie and I to get on top of some things financially, but it just got to the point where I couldn’t handle the schedule anymore. Part-Time Guiding
Ok, here’s the announcement: I have decided to officially start offering guided fishing trips. For the past few years, I have been approached on numerous occasions asking if I offered guided fishing trips. I’ve hesitated for a long time to do such a thing for a few reasons: 1) No guide license, 2) My boat and equipment is not up to par with that of other guides, 3) Competition. BUSY!
Yeah, so, I started I new job back at the beginning of May and my schedule has changed drastically. It has taken me some time to get used to, plus May was just a crazy month in general. Between starting a new job and taking off to the Virgin Islands for vacation, it took a while to get settled into a routine. Around the beginning of June, I finally got into a set schedule at work. My First B.A.S.S. Federation State Championship
What a week! Let me begin by saying that I had a fantastic time at this event. It was loads of fun, exciting, and I learned a lot. Now let me follow that up by saying, I don’t think I’ll be fishing many more state championships.
