Well, I fished the ATX Bassmasters tournament on Lake Travis yesterday and ended up with mediocre results finishing right in the middle of the pack.  Overall, I’m satisfied with how I fished, but a few events during the tournament have left me with some thoughts and lessons to chew on.  I say that I’m satisfied with how I fished because I felt like I made mostly good decisions and I was on the fish needed to win.   [Read more…]

Well, this past month I’ve had a little bit of a break in between tournaments. My last tournament was at the beginning of December and my next one won’t be until January 23rd. This has presented me with a rare opportunity to just do some fun fishing. I think I’ve only done maybe 3 fun fishing trips all year long (that were longer than just 2 hours). [Read more…]

Man, I just can’t seem to get this whole web site thing off the ground and running!  Every time it seems like I get into the swing of things with it, we run into obstacles!  It seems like the very next day after I made my last post entitled, “Back in the Saddle” my website was hacked!  Luckily, my web site man, Dee Gardner, was eventually able to get us straightened out.  We’ve lost the good look we had going with the website though, so we’re back to square 1.  *sigh*  I guess I’ll just start making posts and then hopefully soon we can at least make the website look presentable again.

I’m baaack! Ok, after a long couple of brutal semesters of school, I am going to get back into the swing of things. I was in the midst of getting my website up and going when I started going back to school and it basically owned my life for a while.
