The boat is coming home!!! That’s great news, but at what cost? It ain’t coming cheap; I’ll tell you that. When is it ever though right? It’s been more than a month now since the boat has been away. After sitting at Austin Action Marine for about 3 weeks, I was told that it would be a $3500 fix. OUCH! Obviously that was not going to be a great option. Change of Pace
Well, it’s been an interesting few weeks. First of all. I quit my job doing pest control. It was just too much. It was ok for a while and helped Susie and I to get on top of some things financially, but it just got to the point where I couldn’t handle the schedule anymore. Part-Time Guiding
Ok, here’s the announcement: I have decided to officially start offering guided fishing trips. For the past few years, I have been approached on numerous occasions asking if I offered guided fishing trips. I’ve hesitated for a long time to do such a thing for a few reasons: 1) No guide license, 2) My boat and equipment is not up to par with that of other guides, 3) Competition. BUSY!
Yeah, so, I started I new job back at the beginning of May and my schedule has changed drastically. It has taken me some time to get used to, plus May was just a crazy month in general. Between starting a new job and taking off to the Virgin Islands for vacation, it took a while to get settled into a routine. Around the beginning of June, I finally got into a set schedule at work.
