Lake Travis is currently about 6.5 feet low, with visibility in the 2–3 ft range. Water temperatures are holding steady in the low to mid 80s. Conditions were sunny and calm during this trip.
The best bite came fishing flooded brush and bluff ends in 12–20 ft of water with drop-shot rigged finesse worms. A shaky head finesse worm also produced some bites.
Quality was solid for Travis standards, with many fish in the 2–3 lb range. Right now, it can be tough to track down the right areas, but when you do, the bass are grouped up and you can expect several bites in quick succession.
