Guided Trip Montages
I keep bouncing around on how to best present footage from guided trips. There are some complications with each of the methods I’ve tried so far (“highlights” and “tid bits”). I’m liking my latest idea with these simple “Guided Trip Montage” videos though. Check ’em out!!
In this video, a little kid manages to land himself a nice bass by using a Zebco Spincast combo and a drop-shot rig. Also several other nice catches by clients!
In this one a couple of the highlights include a woman’s first fish ever and a teen tussles with Bassquatch.
So as I’m reviewing video footage, I find that there are a handful of phrases I say on a pretty regular basis. Once of which is saying “Number one!” after we get our first fish in the boat. There are a couple of “number one” fish catches in this video.
In this one, I’ve got a couple of clients with some KILLER hook sets and a client that catches a bonafide Whopper Plopper CHUNK!
Here is a montage of some of my younger clients catching and posing with some of their catches.
Just some more awesome footage of some of my client’s fish catches. If you pay attention at the beginning, I am giving my client some advice on how to alter his retrieve and almost the instant he starts doing what I suggest, he catches a fish!
Guided Trip Highlights
These videos are just short 1-3 minute videos of highlights from trips with clients.
This client was on a quest for Smallmouth Bass in central Texas. Mission accomplished.
A couple of highlights from a trip with a father and son duo on Lake Bastrop.
My client catches an 8 pounder out at Lady Bird Lake in this video!
My client and I hook up with a pretty nice double out on Lake Austin.
I had several clips from guide trips sitting here on my desktop that I haven’t been able to decide what to do with, so I just threw together a little montage with all of them. These are clips from various trips during the first quarter of 2015. Highlights include an LBJ 5lber, sight fishing on Lake Austin, and a grandma layin’ the smack down on some LBJ bass!
Austin Bass Fishing Guided Trip Tid Bits
These videos feature highlights from some of my guided fishing trips, and they also contain clips of some of the information I share with my clients on a trip.
In this video I discuss one of the biggest causes of line breakage and how to prevent it. Plus a client catches a 5 pounder at LBJ.
In this video, I discuss with my client the effectiveness of fishing areas from multiple angles.
In this video, I discuss the importance of focusing on the current conditions.
In this video, I discuss “listening to the fish.” (What?! Fish can talk?!?)
This one is about fishing flooded conditions, and my client catches her first fish ever. She gets pretty stoked. Priceless reaction.
This video answers the question, “How shallow is too shallow?”
Ever wonder if the fish you are catching are traveling in schools or if they are just loners? I discuss that with this client.
