{"id":1424,"date":"2018-09-24T16:34:19","date_gmt":"2018-09-24T16:34:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/andermeine.com\/new\/?page_id=1424"},"modified":"2024-11-14T16:35:09","modified_gmt":"2024-11-14T16:35:09","slug":"single-passenger-mailing-list","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/andermeine.com\/new\/single-passenger-mailing-list\/","title":{"rendered":"Single Passenger Mailing List"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I often get single passengers looking to possibly split a trip with another angler, but they don&#8217;t have a friend or relative already in mind that they would like to split the trip with.&nbsp; If you are interested in splitting a trip with another angler, please either e-mail (andermeine@gmail.com) or text me (435-313-1838) with your first and last name and e-mail address.&nbsp; I will add you to my single passenger mailing list.&nbsp; When an angler has a specific date or dates he is considering taking a trip, I will send a message out to the rest of the mailing list to let them know.&nbsp; Participants can then e-mail me back if they are also interested in splitting the trip.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>***A WORD OF CAUTION***<\/strong>&nbsp;There are pros and cons to splitting a trip with another angler that you are not already familiar with.&nbsp; I have seen these trips go very well, and I have seen them not work out very well for one or both anglers.&nbsp; Obviously, the biggest benefit for both anglers is reducing their individual cost for the trip.&nbsp; The most common negative I&#8217;ve seen with these trips is that one angler may end up dominating the trip.&nbsp; One angler ends up demanding my attention more than the other, whether it is due to their skill level, an overbearing personality, or otherwise.&nbsp; As a result, the other angler may not learn as much or may not have as much success.&nbsp; There is also the obvious potential negative of spending the day in a boat with someone you may not find to be super pleasant, to put it nicely.&nbsp; Splitting a trip with someone you may not know works well for some, but certainly not all.&nbsp; It&#8217;s always recommended that you split a trip with someone you are familiar with or that you simply come out on a trip by yourself in order to have the best experience possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>OTHER SOURCES FOR FINDING AN ANGLER TO SPLIT<\/strong> <strong>WITH:\u00a0 <\/strong>Another good idea for finding an angler to split a trip with is to post a message on either <a href=\"https:\/\/austinbassfishing.com\/\">austinbassfishing.com<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/texasfishingforum.com\">texasfishingforum.com<\/a> .\u00a0 On Facebook, you can join the group called &#8220;The Original Keep Austin Fishing!
