Well, it’s been an interesting few weeks. \u00a0First of all. \u00a0I quit my job doing pest control. \u00a0It was just too much. \u00a0It was ok for a while and helped Susie and I to get on top of some things financially, but it just got to the point where I couldn’t handle the schedule anymore. \u00a0It was taking a toll on way too many areas of my life. \u00a0Most importantly, there was just something inside of me that said I needed to get out of there. \u00a0I think it was good for me to do for a short while, but that’s it.<\/p>\n
And no, I don’t have another job lined up yet. \u00a0I’ve been taking the past few days to catch up on getting some things done that I have not been able to do all summer. \u00a0Like register for school. \u00a0Susie and I are finally in a position financially, I think, that I can really focus on starting to get my school done and overwith. \u00a0I’m tired of just doing a few classes here and a few classes there. \u00a0It’s time to buckle down and knock this out. \u00a0Susie is earning enough money with her job to where I think we’ll be able to afford me doing school full time and just having a part-time job. \u00a0I’m hoping and praying it works out until I can get school done with.<\/p>\n
I can also start focussing on my fishing again. \u00a0Even with school going on, I will at least have more time to dedicate to it then I have the last couple of months. \u00a0I’m excited for that. \u00a0I want to focus on getting a little more exposure for my guiding business. \u00a0So far I’ve done two trips without really advertising at all. \u00a0It’s nice to have a little extra money to pay for boat gas and some extra equipment. \u00a0Both trips went fairly well. \u00a0You can see a pic from one of them on the front page of the site in the upper right hand corner. \u00a0That’s one of the kids from the trip holding up a big cat he caught!<\/p>\n
I’ve also had a little idea planted in my head this past week that is really starting to grow. \u00a0I don’t feel like it’s really time to let that cat out of the bag yet, but let’s just say it has to do with fishing and a job. \u00a0And no, it doesn’t involve tournaments or guiding. \u00a0It’s nothing I’m jumping into right away, but I do want to start doing some research and figuring out how plausible it will be.<\/p>\n
