Water is normal with 2\u20134 ft of visibility, and temps are in the low to mid 80s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>early morning bite<\/strong>&nbsp;might have a slight edge, but there\u2019s no clear best time or depth. We\u2019ve caught fish from less than 2 ft out to 15 ft. It\u2019s been&nbsp;<strong>junk fishing<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 hitting spots that look good and adjusting as we go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best baits? Still figuring that out. But&nbsp;<strong>frogs<\/strong>&nbsp;around shallow vegetation,&nbsp;<strong>big Texas-rigged worms<\/strong>&nbsp;in deeper cover, and&nbsp;<strong>paddletail swimbaits<\/strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>glide baits<\/strong>&nbsp;for covering water have all produced a few.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inks has been a little slow, but the fish we\u2019re catching are&nbsp;solid quality.
