That said, heading farther upriver where the water clears up can make a big difference. The bite has been most consistent around heavy cover and shaded areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re catching fish by skipping finesse jigs under trees and docks, and punching matted vegetation with Texas-rigged creature baits like the <strong>Bass Pro Shops River Bug<\/strong>.
