Lake Austin is sitting at a normal level with clear water in the 4\u20136 ft visibility range and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve been catching bass both in open water and around vegetation. Three-inch paddle tail swimbaits like the Bass Pro Shops Speed Shad have been producing when fished over submerged grass, and mid-strolling minnow-style plastics have worked well for targeting suspended bass with forward-facing sonar. For a shallow bite, weightless soft plastic stick worms around inside grasslines have been consistent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
