Inks Lake is back at a normal level with stained water (2\u20133 ft visibility) and water temperatures around 60\u00b0. The lake has just filled back up after the recent drawdown period, which has the water a bit cooler and off-colored. Even so, the bass have been willing to bite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With most of the aquatic vegetation now gone, fish are relating heavily to shallow cover and structure<\/strong>. The most consistent action has come from fishing Texas-rigged Senkos<\/strong> and finesse jigs<\/strong> around main-lake docks and other shallow targets in less than 10 feet of water<\/strong>. Focus on visible structure and you should be able to connect with some solid fish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
