Inks Lake is holding at a normal level with stained 2\u20133 ft visibility and water temperatures around 57\u00b0. With the cooler weather settling in, the bass have been staying shallow and relating heavily to visible cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most consistent action has come from fishing drop-shot rigged finesse worms<\/strong> and jigs<\/strong> around shallow cover in less than 8 feet of water<\/strong>. Just about any shallow target\u2014docks, laydowns, isolated brush, or rocks\u2014is capable of producing bites right now. Keep moving and hit as many targets as you can to find active fish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
