Water temperatures have dropped to around 52\u00b0, and bass are grouping up as winter conditions continue to settle in. While a variety of conditions have produced bites, cloudy days have been slightly better than sunny ones overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most consistent results lately have come from&nbsp;<strong>crankbaits and jigs<\/strong>&nbsp;fished around&nbsp;<strong>rocky areas in 2\u201314 feet of water<\/strong>. Rather than locking into what typically \u201cshould\u201d work this time of year, it\u2019s been more important to fish the conditions and stay adaptable. The bass are often tightly grouped, and there can be long stretches without bites\u2014but when you find one, it\u2019s common to catch multiple fish in a very small area.
