{"id":503,"date":"2015-02-03T17:09:23","date_gmt":"2015-02-03T17:09:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.andermeine.com\/new\/?p=503"},"modified":"2015-02-03T17:09:23","modified_gmt":"2015-02-03T17:09:23","slug":"on-track-big-sandy-creek-bass-club-new-videos-and-guiding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/andermeine.com\/new\/2015\/02\/03\/on-track-big-sandy-creek-bass-club-new-videos-and-guiding\/","title":{"rendered":"On Track &#8211; Big Sandy Creek Bass Club, New Videos, and Guiding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, we&#8217;re a month into 2015 now, and so far so good. \u00a0I&#8217;m pretty much right on track with where I want to be. \u00a0My last blog post was about my fantasy schedule for the Big Sandy Creek Bass Club (BSCBC) tournaments this year. \u00a0At the January meeting, we voted in the lakes for the first quarter of the year. \u00a0I nominated all of the lakes that I had on my fantasy schedule through April, and my nominations won! \u00a0WooHoo! \u00a0That one kind of caught me by surprise. \u00a0January was Fayette, February will be Bastrop, March will be Austin, and April will be LBJ. \u00a0<!--more-->Just how I planned it. \u00a0Now I probably won&#8217;t get any of the lakes I want for the rest of the year. \u00a0Ha!<\/p>\n<p>The BSCBC at Fayette was NUTS. \u00a0There were six clubs holding tournaments out there that day. \u00a0It was about as packed as I&#8217;ve ever seen a lake. \u00a0Astounding. \u00a0Unfortunately, I was unable to pre-fish for the tournament, so I went in pretty blind. \u00a0I was able to scrape out a limit though for 10 something pounds and ended up in fifth place both as a team and as an individual. \u00a0That puts me in fifth place of the AOY standings. \u00a0I&#8217;m totally cool with that. \u00a0Puts me in striking distance.<\/p>\n<p>I tried something new at that tournament as well. \u00a0I had the idea a month or so ago to get a harness for my dog, May-May, that I could mount the GoPro to. \u00a0I strapped it on her at Fayette to see how it would turn out. \u00a0I thought it was pretty awesome! \u00a0I&#8217;m pretty much right on track with where I want to be and getting the business I was expecting to get with being my first month going full-time with it. \u00a0Actually, the first half of the month I was kept so busy being out on the water with clients that I never had time to try and get the business end of things in place!
