My last tournament was at the beginning of December and my next one won&#8217;t be until January 23rd.  This has presented me with a rare opportunity to just do some fun fishing.  I think I&#8217;ve only done maybe 3 fun fishing trips all year long (that were longer than just 2 hours).<!--more--> I&#8217;ve been going out about twice a week for the past month out to Travis.  I&#8217;ve been able to take someone with me pretty much every time I&#8217;ve gone out.  The fishing has been pretty good out there, and we&#8217;ve been averaging 15-20 fish per trip.  On the better days we&#8217;ve caught an upwards of 30 and on the slower days maybe 10.  The fish haven&#8217;t been real big (it is just Travis after all), but it&#8217;s been fun!  So far in the past month out there my biggest 5 fish limit weighed about 14lbs, but most days it&#8217;s only about an 8-10lb limit.
